Course Description
This three-day training program offers a thorough overview of the ISO55000 Asset Management and ISO 31000 Risk Management Standards. The long-term success of an organization relies on many things, from continually assessing and updating their strategies to optimizing their processes and equipment. As if this were not enough of a challenge, they also need to account for the unexpected in managing risk. This standards overview provides the details and understanding that enable course participants to perform the role of an auditor/assessor and undertake activities as an auditor or assessor.
The ISO 55000 series provides terminology, requirements and guidance for implementing, maintaining and improving an effective asset management system, that can be applied to all types of assets and by all types and sizes of an organizations. In addition, the ISO 31000 standard provides a level of reassurance in terms of economic resilience, professional reputation, and environmental and safety considerations.
By using a combination of both the ISO 55000 & ISO 31000 standards can help organizations increase the likelihood of achieving objectives, improve the identification of opportunities and threats and effectively allocate and use resources for risk and asset management application.
